This boutique MSP has partnerships with a range of market leading tech providers and supports the latest technologies. Working with a large portfolio of diverse and interesting clients across various industries, this business continues to grow, hitting some impressive milestones along the way. Lead by a supportive and friendly leadership team, it is an exciting opportunity for the right person. Your New Role Due to the ongoing success and growth of this business, a requirement for a Senior Support Engineer has become available. This person will play a leadership role within the wider support team and will work closely with two 'hands on' Directors that are looking to develop future leaders as the business grows.This role offers you the opportunity to work across a range of different client environments and offers exposure to some of the latest technologies in the market, enhancing your skillset in the process. Key Responsibilities Establish new customer relationships and nurture existing relationships. Project manage client projects such as new system implementations, migrations and equipment upgrades. Support the service desk team by providing guidance on workloads and handling issue escalations. Ensure that all complex issues are resolved by identifying root causes and providing a remedy. Ensure SOPs are maintained by the team to ensure best in class service. Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors and solution providers. Your Background The ideal applicant will see themselves as a true 'techie' who thrives when facing complex issues and has a passion for the latest and greatest gadgets and technologies. This person will bring substantial experience in the IT support industry, either within an MSP or from the client side, where you have honed your skills. Other Attributes Will hold a relevant IT qualification / Degree or comparable certification. Has strong technical skills with O365, Veeam, Switches, Firewalls, VMware / Hyper-V environments & Cloud (MS Azure). Experience administering Windows Servers (DNS, DHCP, GP, DFS). Product certifications (ie: Microsoft / VMware / Cisco). Critical to your success will be your communication skills; you will be proactive and engaging in your style and have a customer centric work ethos.
