The Role: Undertake the day-to-day operation of the DoH Cybersecurity Operations function, delivering services to enable the detection, analysis, response, reporting, and the preparation for, and prevention of, cybersecurity incidents. Liaise with DoH staff and contractors to aid the investigation and successful remediation of cybersecurity events and incidents affecting the Department's assets. Assist and guide DoH staff in the identification of cybersecurity risks. Undertake identification, analysis and tracking of cybersecurity vulnerabilities affecting the organisation, as well as providing assistance and guidance to stakeholders regarding vulnerability remediation. Actively monitor and triage alerts from a suite of security tools and enact appropriate procedures and playbooks in response to cybersecurity threats, including incident investigation, evidence collection and threat hunting activities. You will need: Demonstrated experience and skills in delivering innovative cybersecurity solutions, services and/or technical support within a complex work environment. Proven ability to engage and collaborate with technical specialists and non-specialists to foster a productive work ethic and positive workplace culture. Conceptual and problem-solving skills demonstrated through an ability to analyse and respond to cybersecurity events and incidents within a diverse and fast-paced environment subject to change. Well-developed communication, negotiation, and expectation management skills, including proven ability to articulate complex issues to non-technical stakeholders such as senior executives and customers. Self-awareness with a proven capacity to effectively model agile, flexible, and innovative work practices to achieve results. The Team: The Health ICT Cybersecurity Services team leads the Department's effort to secure its digital information and systems. We provide specialist technical and risk management advice, cyber incident monitoring, detection and response, workforce cyber awareness and training, and security design/engineering support for digital technologies. Our work underpins community trust and confidence in the delivery of healthcare to Tasmanian citizens and supports the Department's Digital Health Transformation.
Details of appointment: Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $95,393 - $100,067 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
