Responsibilities will include:
the ongoing administration, support and troubleshooting of the Centres Core IT Infrastructure, which includes server infrastructure, networks, desktops and internal applications including our Event management system. systems Administration and Configuration of Server Technologies and Virtual Environments. installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications. monitoring and maintenance of servers, workstations, printers, and networks to minimise potential issues. talking team members through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues. development and upgrading of the internal network to provide best customer experience. working with customers on events to provide an accurate, professional, and high-level network. About You: You'll need to be self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills, because you will need to engage with IT colleagues, internal users, and external clients on a daily basis. Because you'll be customer facing, you'll need to be well presented, a self-starter with excellent prioritisation skills and be able to work both autonomously and within a team. You'll love to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to trouble shoot, problem solve and think on your feet. We are a hospitality venue and so you might be required to work some nights and rotating weekend shifts. On a technical level you will need to have: demonstrated experience in the support and administration of a networked windows environment predominately Hyper-V environment. experience and understanding of Cisco networking and routing protocols. solid support experience in Server Technologies including: Windows Server 2012 R2/2019 and Windows 10/11 VMWare ESXi MS SQL, Office 365 Azure AD experience in backup and disaster management experience in IP Telephone and VOIP knowledge (Cisco CUCM) technical wireless knowledge and wireless controller management (Cisco Wireless Controllers) network, hardware, and systems monitoring and notifications ideally have Ungerboeck event management software experience, but not essential WHY WORK WITH US?
