IT Security Risk Advisor Reserve Bank of Australia, Sydney, Australia
We have a 12 Month Contract opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable security risk analyst to provide specialised skills in relation to security governance & compliance, risk and assurance to meet the requirements of the IT Department risk function. In this role you will provide assurance over the Bank's controls for IT risk, as well continual improvement of existing processes. You will also:
Measure, report and control the governance, security risks and compliance across the organisation. Undertake activities to ensure compliance of IT infrastructure against approved security policies, standards and guidelines. Assist in the ongoing assurance of the Bank's information security processes and practices. Your background We are looking for someone who has strong knowledge of security and risk and also enjoys hands-on work within different security and risk tools. Additionally, experience in data analytics would be highly desirable.
To be successful in this critical role you will possess:
Knowledge of Information Security principles and practices across infrastructure and applications. Familiar with security standards such as ISO27001, the Australian Government ISM and PSPF and other international standards. Experience in developing security policies, guidelines, and procedures. Your team You will work with a team of incredibly smart people, who are very passionate about security and risk. The technology Risk and Assurance team consists of 7 people with a wide range of experience. It is a challenging, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment with a great culture.
