Opportunity to Join a Growing Business Access to First-Class Training Hybrid Work Opportunity About the Business: A well-established IT Services company is seeking a Helpdesk and Field Technician to join their team servicing their clients around the country.
Our client provides managed IT services and supports businesses with a range of services including software, Microsoft 365 products, hardware, networking, internet, hosting, cloud-based servers, security, communications, and database backup and recovery.

About the Role: As a Field Technician, you will be the primary technical support for your clients, either on-site or online/phone.
On-site, you'll troubleshoot and resolve issues, and when remote, you'll handle client enquiries and provide level 2/3 technical support over the phone as well as escalate where needed.
You will troubleshoot and support: Microsoft Office 365 including user setup and licensing; Server management including installations, configurations and updates; VoIP phone systems including documentation of configurations; Website administration including updates, backups and security monitoring; DNS and domain registrations including maintaining records and renewals; Network administration including managing firewalls, switches, routers and VPN's; and Security including monitoring systems for irregularities and breaches, and escalations.
About You: You will be a quick learner passionate about client interaction.
You should have 3+ years of proven experience in a level 2 or higher helpdesk role and possess the following attributes: Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Hyper-V environments; Solid understanding of DNS and experience in troubleshooting DNS issues; Excellent communication and customer service skills; Technical understanding and interest in providing whole-of-business IT support; Familiarity with Microsoft systems including the Microsoft 365 cloud suite; A valid Australian driver's licence (Class P or Open) and vehicle; A quiet and professional work space for remote work; and Ability to apply safe work practices when troubleshooting networking and internet issues.
IT qualifications are not required; however, you should have a strong IT aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with clients in a professional environment are essential for success in this role.
