Permanent Full time | Reports to Director of Technology The role of IT Database Officer offers a unique blend of challenges and rewards, ensuring that Abbotsleigh's data is accurate, secure and accessible. If you love working with data and technology, this position allows you to dive deep into database management and system optimisation.
Working closely with the Data Services Manager, this role is vital for supporting the operations and strategic goals of Abbotsleigh by providing reliable data management, data reporting and associated services of the School.
The successful candidate will be a diligent, efficient and solutions-focused database professional who will form an integral part of our dynamic and innovative IT Team. While providing effective day-to-day enterprise database related support, the Database Officer also proactively identifies problems as well as proposes and helps initiate effective data solutions. They must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with key staff and departments to meet strict deadlines. Experience in a database administration role is not necessary for this role, however it would be advantageous. Experience in developing and maintaining SSRS reports and using School Information Systems (SIS), Azure Databases or CRM applications would be looked upon favourably.
