About the Role Reporting to the IT&C Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of IT&C service delivery. The diverse role will require you to ensure efficient delivery of helpdesk support, manage the effective distribution of IT&C assets, scheduling workloads, support calls, system maintenance, updates, and projects.
As a pivotal player in our reliability and performance of IT&C, you will proactively monitor systems, resolve incidents, and implement process improvements, guaranteeing customer-first stakeholder communication that will drive high performance and goal achievement for the IT&C team.
About You Essential Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related experience. Current unencumbered NSW Driver's Licence. Experience in IT service management frameworks such as ITIL for managing incidents, problems, and change control processes. Strong experience in operating helpdesk and service desk platforms, including the ability to analyse data and trends to mitigate recurring problems. Experience in planning and scheduling IT&C services, including system maintenance, software updates, and infrastructure upgrades to minimise disruptions. Solid understanding of IT&C infrastructure, including networks, servers, and communication systems. Knowledge of monitoring and diagnostic tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues. Experience in managing the procurement, distribution, and lifecycle of IT&C assets, ensuring proper tracking and documentation. Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve complex IT&C issues quickly and effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with end-users, technical teams, and stakeholders at all levels. High level of accuracy in managing IT&C assets, documenting changes, and tracking incidents to ensure effective control and compliance. Ability to manage competing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, especially in a high-pressure environment. Willingness to stay updated with new IT&C trends and technologies to improve service delivery. Capacity for overnight travel as required by business needs from time to time.
