We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Payroll Officer to join our Corporate, Governance & Financial Services (CGFS) directorate, based in the Isaac Region.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Coordinator Payroll & Benefits, this position is responsible for effective and accurate payroll processing services across Isaac Regional Council.
The Payroll/Benefits department ensures an integrated approach to internal organisational services across the organisation. The Payroll/Benefits is responsible for payroll functions including operations of Council.
BENEFITS Salary $42.23 - $48.73 per hour. Stream A, Level 3-4 Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading Up to 14% super in accordance with IRC's Certified Agreement RDO's in accordance with IRC's Certified Agreement Locality Allowance Discounted Medibank Corporate Health Cover with competitive extras and coverage benefits ABOUT YOU Experience in the management of highly confidential information, documents and communication; strong knowledge of awards/certified agreement interpretation and payroll processing legislation. Written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and financial information systems. Tertiary qualifications within Business or Finance would be highly regarded. ABOUT OUR REGION
