Irrigationist Assistant - A&L Romeo Pty Ltd

Romeo's Best Farms is one of Australia's largest privately owned table grape producers. Based in Emerald and Mareeba QLD, A&L Romeo Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time qualified Irrigationist Assistant.
The salary offered is $73,150 per annum plus superannuation.
The applicant should have at least a relevant Certificate II or 2 years of full-time work experience (at least 38 hours per week) at a primary producer. The applicant must be committed to working in regional Australia.
The applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:
Determine and schedule irrigations based on weather conditions Irrigate crops as required Assess soil moisture on a daily basis by undertaking crop inspections Assist in design and implementation of the irrigation program Schedule irrigations Install irrigation systems Maintain pumping systems for irrigation Daily maintenance of irrigation systems Completing general tasks assisting others as required Participate in staff development as requested or required Inspect and report any maintenance required Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,150.00 per year
