Permanent Full Time opportunity available (9 day fortnight) Position: Certified Irrigation Agronomist (CIAg) or Certified Irrigation Designer (CiD)
Salary: LGO 5 ($87,024 - $90,825 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications, and experience

About The Role This role is responsible for conducting all inspections of municipal infrastructure constructed during the course of Council asset delivery.
Responsibilities include supervising the entire construction process in accordance with approved plans and ensuring that the assets result in value and are fit for purpose for Council.
This role provides technical advice and recommendations to ensure that irrigation projects are delivered as designed, drawn, and to specification for new and renewal irrigation projects.
About You Certified Irrigation Agronomist (CIAg) or Certified Irrigation Designer (CiD), certified by Irrigation Australia Limited.Trade or tertiary qualification in Electrical or Electronics, and/or extensive experience working with irrigation sensors, control valves, meters, and Irrinet Control system components.Minimum of five years (preferably 10 years) experience in the asset inspection field.Substantial experience as an irrigation designer/contractor, with a broad range of experience in the design and/or installation of public irrigation infrastructure (especially in parks, gardens, playgrounds, sporting facilities, and urban streetscapes).Detailed knowledge of design and construction principles associated with the development of irrigation projects and municipal infrastructure.Restricted Electrical Work Licence.Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD).Comprehensive knowledge of irrigation pumps and filtration system components, flow dynamics, energy efficiencies, encoder/decoder 2 wire control, SCADA Telemetry, radio frequency communications, AC, DC, and solar power circuitry equipment.How To Apply Your application can be submitted through the 'Apply' button.
