We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Development representative to join our growing Wholesale team in Victoria on a full-time basis.

IPD has a strong focus on strategic growth within the Electrical Wholesale channel within Victoria and providing value adding support to our highly valued partner wholesalers to achieve sustainable growth is essential.
Supported by a dynamic Customer Service team, excellent product portfolio, estimation and engineering support, your success is there for the taking.
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, this role will be based out of our Keysborough office.
Duties & Responsibilities: Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory to drive new business opportunities.
Presenting, promoting, and selling IPD products and services to existing and potential customers using persuasive arguments.
Identifying and capitalising on new business development opportunities within the designated territory to achieve sales and margin growth targets.
Proactively engaging with electrical contractors through the wholesale channel to create demand for IPD products and services.
Achieve desired sales outcomes, challenging objections where required.
Liaising & collaborating with key stakeholders.
Coordinating with the wider sales team to ensure comprehensive solutions are provided to customers, maintaining high levels of customer service.
Providing a high level of customer service.
Experience & Attributes: Minimum of 3 years' experience in the electrical industry.
Experience working in or supporting the Electrical Wholesale channel preferred.
Strong relationship building skills ("likeable & trustable").
Self-motivation with a focus on results.
Keen attention to detail, organisational & time management skills.
Excellent written, verbal interpersonal & communication skills.
