About the Role We have an exciting new opportunity available in our Sydney office for an experienced lawyer to join our award-winning Investment Funds & Corporate practice group.
In this role you will be involved in advising on investment fund structures and documentation, licensing, financial services regulation, capital raising, fund restructures and transactions.
You will also be involved in corporate and commercial transactions (share and asset acquisitions, divestments and mergers as well as general commercial matters).
Client relationship management will be key to the success of this role, along with the ability to research and draft technical advices across a range of matters.
You will be part of an expanding and dynamic practice working with institutional and boutique investment fund clients, global and domestic corporate clients and working with Dentons teams across our global network.
This team is very collaborative and you will work across a range of clients and benefit from working in a flat structure with the Partners who are all approachable, genuine and experts in their field.
About You To be considered for this role, you will have at least three years of relevant Australian legal experience in this area.
If you are currently overseas and looking to return, we would love to hear from you however you will need to be an Australian qualified lawyer.
You will possess the ability to work both autonomously as well as in a team environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent analytic skills, an assertive and thoughtful communication style and a desire to develop, learn and stretch their legal and commercial skills.
