How will I help?

This role exists to support the Major Investigations and Partnerships team within AML/CTF and Sanctions Operations that delivers compliance and customer outcomes across all Westpac Group brands.

In this role you will be responsible for conducting end to end AML investigations, reviewing evidence as part of the investigation, compiling investigation reports and conducting interviews with customers, where required.

What do I need?

• Extensive experience in conducting investigations arising from AML alerts.
• Experience in conducting interviews, collating all relevant evidence, and writing formal reports needed to investigate complex matters in a manner that meets the relevant legislation and policy compliance requirements.
• 2-3 years of experience and knowledge across Anti Money Laundering / Counter Terrorism Finance typologies, legislation, and processes.
• Experience in providing effective investigation outcome feedback to relevant key stakeholders to support drive process and cultural improvements within the Westpac Group.
• Ability to utilise business metrics to manage operations and drive efficiency.
• Demonstrated experience in relationship management for internal stakeholders.
