The role operates as a key point of insight into our customer experience and the compliance with our regulatory environment of our merchant network. You will actively participate in assisting and supporting colleagues across the organisation to ensure consistency of approach and adherence to Merchant Accreditation, Onboarding and Monitoring Policy and hummgroup's regulatory compliance and monitoring commitments.The role requires the ability to learn quickly when facing new problems, being open-minded, highly adaptable to rapid change, and the ability to quickly grasp new ideas. Additionally, the role will require an investigative mindset and the ability to interrogate and respond to other stakeholders within the business to ensure the best outcomes for our customers.As an Investigations & Compliance Advisor, you will use your advanced analytical skills to provide high-quality compliance and risk evaluations and advice to assist the Risk & Compliance Manager and other relevant hummgroup stakeholders with relevant regulatory authorities.What does an average day look like?No day is average at hummgroup, but here's an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:Identifying merchant non-compliance via phone calls and emails to consumer business customersIdentifying potential compliance risks including monitoring of linked credit provider obligationsReviewing new Merchant information and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and our merchant agreementsAnalysing data, producing meaningful reporting and delivering insightful reportingAssisting the Risk & Compliance Manager to review, maintain, improve, and implement hummgroup's compliance framework and internal policiesExercising due diligence and care in the formulation of written correspondencePerforming investigations and assessments, including conducting internal reviews and auditsLiaising and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders through face-to-face collaborationConducting second line compliance controls testing and reportingWho will thrive in this role?You're a multi-tasker with an eye for detail driven to meeting deadlines and deliverables while keeping calm under pressure. You have a curious mindset with demonstrated experience in judgement and decision making including a high level of customer service and strong probing skills.
