At EDL, we are playing a key role in the world's transition from traditional energy sources to decarbonised solutions.The Inventory Team Lead is responsible for leading the Australian Inventory Team to lead and uplift the material, inventory and warehousing services across the EDL Australian Business. This position is required to travel to various sites (regional and remote) at least once a month. This position is based in our head office in Brisbane, with the option to work from home 2 days per week.Key Areas of Responsibility:Provide end to end strategic direction for the materials, inventory, and warehousing functions, demand planning, inventory replenishment, storage and customer order fulfilment through to plant installation/inventory retirement.Ensuring that inventory, cataloguing and warehouse services provides a best practice service to customers and managing stockholdings to minimise investment and inventory obsolescence.Engage and collaborate with the Strategic Procurement team, to ensure improvements in contracting strategies with external suppliers are implemented, and in turn deliver cost saving benefits across the EDL supply chain, whilst maintaining continuity of supplyLead, coach, and mentor supply chain team to develop and achieve individual/team objectives and functional plans.Oversee the supply and returns of rotable product to and from sites to ensure data integrity held in inventory systems.Pursue and recover rotable product or payment for the loss (if applicable).Provide training and support to all business functions on Rotable Management process.Management reporting on all operational and financial rotable performance as and when required.Develop, manage, and lead an effective supply chain strategy including materials & inventory management, warehousing, and logistics to support the EDL business in maintaining asset reliability and performance requirements.Work with the Asset Management team to determine appropriate min/max level and inventory availability across the Australian business.Implement and manage new technology and systems to uplift EDL inventory management, including barcoding and reporting governance.Uplift inventory storage across all Australian EDL sites, ensuring that OEM inventory storage guidelines are met.Develop, manage and undertake a yearly stocktake program across all EDL Australian sites, including the implementation of cycle counts.Proactively liaise with both the UK and USA region inventory leads to ensure that global standardisation is achieved and maintained.Person Specification:High level of personal integrity and respect for ethical practicesSupply chain related management, governance, monitoring and reporting.
