The company An award-winning national leader in lighting, air and control solutions, founded in 2005 and based in Salisbury, specialising in the manufacturing of lighting, commercial emergency lighting, and custom lighting, is seeking an Inventory Coordinator.
The role The Stock Coordinator is essential in managing the flow of inventory to the factory, ensuring smooth and efficient production. This role involves raising and processing purchase orders, receiving and allocating stock to the correct bins, and overseeing all inventory within the factory. The Supply Coordinator collaborates with the Production Manager to plan and maintain adequate stock levels for ongoing projects, including replenishing inventory as needed, forecasting future stock requirements, and aligning with the order book to keep production on track.

With a remarkable memory and a talent for tracking and planning, you handle complex tasks with ease. You'll be skilled at negotiating with suppliers and managing relationships, sometimes calling in favours or asserting yourself as needed. Your role will also involve coordinating production needs with the factory to ensure stock availability.
Skills required Previous experience in an Inventory or Supply Chain Coordinator role.Understanding of Warehousing and/or Supply Chain.Knowledge of SAP, including SAP-based warehouse management systems.Meticulous in managing inventory, ensuring data accuracy, and resolving issues.Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
