We are seeking a skilled Developer to join our team, contributing to the development, implementation, and support of key applications and software for our client base. This role offers the chance to influence team processes and collaborate closely with various departments, as we continue to expand.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain a range of software solutions, working closely with product managers, business analysts, and the support team.Provide technical expertise and guidance across the broader stakeholder group.Ensure compliance with established software engineering quality standards and best practices.Uphold and promote development practices aligned with the agreed Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Engage in various development tasks, including requirements gathering, design, and software/database development.Support the growth of the development team by working alongside product teams, business analysts, and architects to define team standards and practices.About You: As a seasoned Developer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within scope, you'll find this role both challenging and rewarding. You will engage with senior leadership and stakeholders to support the evolution of the HealthPoint Claims platform.
Requirements: A minimum of five years of experience in software analysis, design, and development.Hands-on experience in agile development environments, following established standards and methodologies.Strong database development skills, including complex scripting, stored procedures, triggers, and views to support front-end applications.Extensive knowledge of software integration, packaging, and deployment processes.Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.Essential Technical Skills: Proficiency with InterSystems Caché.Familiarity with InterSystems Ensemble for interoperability solutions.Hands-on experience with InterSystems IRIS data platform.Preferred Business Expertise: Knowledge of electronic ancillary claim processing.Experience with claims settlement systems.Familiarity with settlement and reconciliation via web services.Understanding of Australian Medical Provider Registration requirements.Preferred Technical Skills (Not Mandatory): Experience in Java development.Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks.Proficiency with GIT version control.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Experience in DevOps practices.Cloud computing experience, ideally with AWS or alternatively, Azure.SQL database expertise, preferably with Oracle, though SQL Server is also acceptable.Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio and the .NET framework.Exposure to test automation tools and practices.Linux development experience, with comfort using command-line interfaces, particularly Bash.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and techniques.
