Qualifications & Experience

MC Driver's Licence with B Double experience. Can be an experienced single trailer driver that is willing to progress to B Double.
Experience transporting trucks is preferred, although training can be provided.
Experience in operating a range of low loader trailers and/or Dropdeck trailers.
A sound knowledge of road transport legislation including fatigue management, load restraints, and operating conditions.
Familiarity with heavy vehicle road networks.
Good interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
The ability to work away from home; we will get you home most weekends.
Safe driving record and commitment to creating a safe work environment.
Minimum 1 year interstate driving experience.
Clean driving record with no more than 3 points lost in the last 3 years.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Loading and unloading trucks and machinery, predominantly between Melbourne and Sydney.
Safely restraining trucks and machinery in accordance with NTC load restraint guide.
Transporting trucks and machinery along the East Coast of Australia for a leading company.
Completing operational checklists for both truck and load.
Carrying and understanding all statutory permits.
Customer liaising during delivery.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
