Job Description: The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Big Cedar Lodge's human resource department. Expected Contributions:
Provide exceptional guest service to both our internal and external guests. Answer and direct departmental phone calls. Receive and distribute office mail. Schedule and organize appointments; take minutes during departmental meetings. Proofread and type documents and correspondence produced by the department. Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refer more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management. Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Participate in the planning of associate events. Guide applicants through the application process. Essential Functions:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Organize the front office and follow through on all commitments. Assist with Taking Root (New Hire Orientation). Assist associates with shoe orders, shuttle trips, etc. Other duties as assigned. Eligibility: Applications are open to applicants living in New Zealand or Australia who are eligible to get a US J1 Visa.
We sponsor your visa once placed. All employers are screened – as you will be. Help with flights to and from the USA. 4 or 12 month visa. You will need a clean Criminal Record for the visa. You will need to be a current tertiary student or have graduated in the last 12 months. #J-18808-Ljbffr
