Role OverviewUMENCO is seeking an experienced wholesale manager for a contemporary Australian brand whose designs have become wardrobe staples through their impeccable modern tailoring and subtle detailing.
While reporting directly to the Director and Commercial Manager, the Wholesale Manager will play a pivotal role in strategising the brand's wholesale operations in Australia and internationally.
With a primary focus on expanding the network of key accounts and driving seasonal sales to meet financial targets, the successful Wholesale Manager will orchestrate global showroom operations, from appointment scheduling to execution, blending strategic foresight with operational acumen to elevate the brand.
The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and implementing strategic initiatives to amplify wholesale revenue and market presence. This involves cultivating existing client relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities, supported by thorough market analysis and competitor benchmarking. Collaborating closely with marketing and product teams, the Wholesale Manager will assist in shaping promotional campaigns and refining product assortments to align with market demand and brand vision. Leadership will extend to mentoring a sales coordinator and managing a small team. Monitoring sales performance and furnishing comprehensive reports will inform strategic decision-making, while upholding compliance with industry standards and company protocols remains integral.
The ideal candidate will embody senior-level expertise within the wholesale domain, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, as well as exceptional organisational, communication, and leadership skills. This role requires international travel and is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a successful, contemporary brand whose focus is on growth and innovation.
