About the roleYou will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Head of International and International team on international engagement and standards development activity. This is a 5 month fixed-term contract, with possibility for extension.
What you'll doAct as Secretariat to SA's international strategic committeesSupport Chairs and business leads to ensure meetings are conducted effectivelyCoordinate contributions to agendas from internal and external stakeholdersSupport Australian representation at key regional forumsProduce timely and accurate meeting minutesManagement and delivery of international committee meetings in line with the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO)/International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) guidanceLiaise with internal and external stakeholders as required, managing inquiries and coordinating responsesEffective diary and meeting management for the Head of InternationalProactive management of emails through the international email inboxKeep logical and orderly electronic filing system and log as necessary for action and follow upAbout youUndergraduate or graduate degree in politics, international relations, communication or another relevant fieldUnderstanding of Standards Australia's purpose and role in standards developmentExperience with meeting minutes, agendas and other administration responsibilitiesProven experience in a professional, government, commercial or similar international policy role is advantageousCulture & BenefitsStandards Australia is proud to have been awarded the prestigious Employer of Choice Award for two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024.
