We seek a motivated graduate, ideally from the engineering, mechanical, mechatronic, or electrical fields, who embodies curiosity and a passion for innovation. This individual will take on the role of Internal Technical Sales, bringing their knowledge and enthusiasm to contribute significantly to our dynamic team.
About the Role Develop technical solutions that align applications and products in essential industries such as food & beverage, pharmaceutical, gas handling, water treatment and microfluidics. Identify product and service value-add opportunities throughout our extensive catalogue range to maximise growth and cross-selling opportunities. Prepare and deliver quotations and solutions tailored to customer needs. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up. Active outbound calling to initiate and follow up on marketing campaigns. The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate will be a proactive and self-driven sales and business development professional looking to expand their skill set and career in the field of Operational Technology. To be successful, you will have:
Exposure or experience in process automation, instrumentation and technology solutions. An engineering, electrical or mechanical qualification or degree. Strong commercial acumen, sales and negotiation skills. Ability to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships. The ability to work autonomously. An inquisitive nature, someone who likes to tinker, thinks beyond theory and strives to apply their skills in a broad market of interesting applications. An attitude that is positive, enthusiastic about success and a work ethic that is passionate about what you do and how you go about achieving strong sales growth results. Excellent communicator, both written and oral. Australian citizens or permanent residents only need to apply. What's in it for you?
