In Australia ACO is a manufacturer of surface stormwater management construction products, utility cable pit enclosures and building drainage products, supplying the construction industry.
We are seeking a confident, proactive and motivated individual to join our VIC Sales Office based at Noble Park VIC.
This role requires you to search industry and local government websites to find construction projects to add to the ACO database that have immediate or future ACO product sales opportunities.
You will maintain relationships via phone and email with plumbing, electrical and civil trade contractors as well as product merchants. You will support customers by providing quotes and product information, and by tracking the progress of projects to enable you to contact customers proactively to secure purchase orders.
This role will focus on a proactive sales approach, seeking new business opportunities from clients and closing sales.
This role utilises a computer database that enables you to effortlessly self-manage your daily tasks of project searching, construction tracking and quote follow-up.
You will liaise via phone and email with ACO manufacturing, administration and sales teams around Australia from time to time to help provide support for your customers.
You must have a professional phone manner, excellent time management skills; have fast and accurate data entry skills with touch-typing being a huge asset. Experience with MS Office is essential. Previous experience in the sales or the construction industry is advantageous, but not essential.
You will be working as part of a team where an open mind, sound interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour are vital.
