Our Branch Public Space Operations is a service delivery, customer-focused, and commercially driven business that prides itself on keeping Brisbane's streets and public spaces clean, green, and safe for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike.
The Roles Greenspace Team Leaders are responsible for the coordination and focus of a team of horticultural staff in the delivery of garden and facility maintenance, development projects, and horticultural work within their allocated areas.
There are three permanent positions available: one at Newstead Park and two roles at the City Botanic Gardens. Please review the corresponding position descriptions.
You You will have considerable knowledge and experience in horticulture and in the planning, coordination, and management of horticultural teams to deliver enhancements and maintenance to Brisbane's parks and gardens.
For the Newstead role, you will require an ACDC Commercial Operators Licence as well as a MR Licence, and for the roles at the City Botanic Gardens, you will require a Cert III in Parks and Gardens or similar qualification and a C Class Licence.
You will be collaborative, proactive, and lead by example in the planning and the delivery of horticultural works.
