We are looking for our next Internal Medicine Specialist to contribute to our vision of offering primary clients and referring veterinarians excellence in medical knowledge, diagnostics, and patient outcomes. The Opportunity We are looking to grow our Internal Medicine Department through the addition of a new Internal Medicine Specialist. Our Medicine Team primarily sees referred and committed clients along with patients transferred through the in-house Emergency service.

Peninsula Vet Emergency & Referral Hospital offers a full range of disciplines including Critical Care, Surgery, Oncology, and Diagnostic Imaging. The hospital is fully equipped including CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, laser, and fluoroscopy. Experience with ultrasound is ideal but negotiable.

We are passionate about supporting the next generation of veterinary professionals through our internship program and extra-mural program partnership with the University of Melbourne Veterinary School. Our Internal Medicine interns support the Department through inpatient management, client communication, and procedural support.
