The Opportunity We are looking to grow our Internal Medicine Department through the addition of a new Internal Medicine Specialist. Our Medicine Team primarily sees referred and committed clients along with patients transferred through the in-house Emergency service.
Peninsula Vet Emergency & Referral Hospital offers a full range of disciplines including Critical Care, Surgery, Oncology, and Diagnostic Imaging. The hospital is fully equipped including CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, laser, and fluoroscopy. Experience with ultrasound is ideal; however, it is negotiable.
We are passionate about supporting the next generation of veterinary professionals through our internship program and extra-mural program partnership with the University of Melbourne Veterinary School. Our Internal Medicine interns support the Department through inpatient management, client communication, and procedural support.
