About the role Join our global Corporate Communications team as Internal Communications Coordinator, where you'll play a lead role in influencing Orica's employee experience. In this pivotal role, you'll craft compelling written and digital content across various communication channels, analyse engagement metrics to drive improvement, and support dynamic internal communications campaigns and activities.
As a key member of a small, creative team, you'll have the unique opportunity to build relationships with senior global stakeholders and experiment with diverse communication tools and mediums. Your efforts will directly enhance the experience of Orica employees worldwide, making this role both impactful and rewarding.
What you will be doing Assists in developing and executing Orica's narrative and global key messages.
Supports the Orica Corporate Communications Strategy.
Creates and executes internal communication plans, campaigns and activities to address the needs of Orica's employees.
Writes, reviews and publishes internal communications.
Collaborates on and contributes to internal communications and online tools for company-wide messages.
Manages and publishes content across key channels like the intranet, virtual town halls, enterprise social networks, and digital newsletters.
Finds new ways to improve communications and enhance the employee experience.
Creates visually appealing and engaging design content to enhance communications across all channels while managing and upholding the Orica corporate brand and its related materials.
Supports organisational change through effective internal communication with cross-functional teams.
Creates and delivers regular analytics to report on engagement and channel performance and proactively identifies opportunities to improve, based on analysis.
What you will bring Degree in Communications.
Minimum two years' experience post qualification.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Ability to plan, influence and execute.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.
Graphic/visual design experience.
Communications statistics and analytical experience.
Software and Systems
Design platforms (Canva, Adobe Creative or similar).
Video production platforms.
Microsoft Office suite.
Desired experience
Industrial / B2B communications experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of the markets in which Orica operates.
Knowledge of mining, explosives and blasting concepts.
