About the role
As the Internal Communications Coordinator, you will develop, deliver, and report on targeted internal communications activities that support business strategies and objectives.
You will work across the organisation to support employee engagement communications activities, such as diversity and inclusion and mental health and wellbeing initiatives through producing and delivering engaging internal communications content.
What you're here to do
Assist in the execution and delivery of MCEC's community partnerships/CSR activity as it relates to employees.
Craft original and engaging copy and content across all internal communications channels.
Lead the development and distribution of weekly employee e-newsletter Backstage.
Oversee and maintain the news section and homepage of the company intranet site, liaising with internal stakeholders to develop content, ensure accuracy and relevance.
Research and report on the use and preference of communication channels by employees, using insights to refine these.
What you will need
Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline (e.g., communications, marketing, journalism) or demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Excellent communication skills including exceptional writing ability across a range of channels and mediums and experience writing for internal audiences.
Knowledge and experience in content management systems for intranets, websites, and eDM distributions.
Experience within the business events, destination tourism, or hospitality industries (desirable).
