About the Role:Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, companies, trusts, and SMSFsHandling BAS, IAS, FBT, and individual tax return preparationsAssisting in the preparation of advice on tax and business issuesManaging compliance requirements for a broad range of clientsIdentifying and resolving basic issues in client financial statementsSkills and Experience:1.5 years - 3 years of recent Australian business services accounting experience within a professional services/public accounting firmA relevant accounting degree (BCom or BBus)Progress towards a CA/CPA qualificationProficiency in Xero and MYOBStrong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitaskExcellent written and oral communication skills across all levels of an organizationBasic understanding of tax laws, state taxes, and duties relating to resident taxpayersAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and WordImportant Information:Only candidates with recent Australian business services accounting experience in a professional services/public accounting firm will be considered.This opportunity does not provide visa sponsorship; only candidates with full Australian working rights are eligible.Please note, only successful candidates will be contacted.Why Join?This role offers the opportunity to work with a global leader in public accounting, known for their outstanding employee culture and commitment to community involvement.
