They are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their Business Services & Tax team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive accounting and tax solutions to their clients. Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements and reports for a variety of clients Conduct tax planning and compliance for individuals and businesses Assist in the preparation of income tax returns (individual, partnership, and corporate) Perform bookkeeping and payroll duties as required Provide advisory services to clients on financial and tax matters Collaborate with senior accountants and partners on complex tax issues Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and accounting standards Build and maintain strong client relationships Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Commenced or looking to commence CA or CPA Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, specifically in business services and tax Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
