Position Overview This role is ideal for an Interior Designer or Architect looking for a part-time or casual opportunity with BuildMarque Commercial & Healthcare Interiors. Based in Melbourne, VIC, the position offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining office, on-site, and remote work.
Key Responsibilities Develop space planning and innovative interior design concepts for healthcare and commercial spaces. Create detailed architectural and construction drawings. Generate high-quality, realistic 3D renderings. Collaborate with clients, team members, and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Participate in client meetings and site visits as needed. Select and specify FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) relevant to each project. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial interior design (residential experience is not applicable). Proficiency in space planning, interior design, and construction drawing. Expertise in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.). Strong creativity and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of FF&E selection and specification. Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Experience in healthcare and commercial interiors is a must.
