Empowering Learning is working with a "good" rated Secondary School in Birmingham who are looking for an Art Teacher to start in September on a Full-time basis.
Position: Art Teacher Location: Birmingham Job Type: Permanent Start Date: 02/09/2024 Responsibilities: Develop and implement a dynamic art curriculum for students of varying ages and skill levels.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.Provide instruction in a variety of art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media.Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.Organize and participate in school art exhibitions, competitions, and community art projects.Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art education across the curriculum.Stay current with new teaching methods, materials, and techniques in the field of art education.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Valid teaching certification/license in the state.Previous teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting.Strong knowledge of various art techniques and mediums.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for teaching and inspiring students.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Why Join Us?
