In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to provide our clients with a comprehensive understanding of the interior and external products available within our product range.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:Working closely with clients from initial walk through, selection and beyondProviding a customised approach for selecting interior and external details, materials, colour selections, flooring selections, lighting/electrical, space planning, and detailingInterpreting client needs and completing detailed design concepts and contract documentsWriting specifications covering interior design matters, and performing code reviewsProvide on the spot pricing and estimatingWorking collaboratively and coordinating work with other disciplinesEffectively utilising available technology to accurately record all revisions and reselectionsEnsuring customer satisfaction by providing guidance and quality supportAbout youTo be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values along with:Diploma in Design and Decoration or other relevant tertiary qualificationCommitment to providing excellence in customer serviceDemonstrated design aesthetic and strong conceptual skillsExperience in interior design or colour consulting ideally within the residential building industryAn ability to read and understand floor plans and housing contractsDemonstrated attention to detail and strong record keeping, planning and organisingUp to date knowledge of relevant legislation, Codes and industry trendsInterested?The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening and depending on the inherent requirements of the role, may involve the completion of a National Police Check and pre-employment medical.Apply today!If you are determined to make a difference and want to join an innovative and inclusive organisation committed to building better futures, click on the APPLY button.
