Building Designer Or Architect

We are a new design and development studio looking for an experienced designer to work collaboratively with. Our initial focus is on single and small to medium scale multi-residential developments.
We value functional, creative, healthy, and beautiful design integrated with landscapes, striving towards sustainability on all levels, with an emphasis on affordability and quality of life over materialism.
ESSENTIALLicensed Building Designer or Architect for at least three years to minimum standard of Limited in Tasmania (or eligibility).High level of technical proficiency in ArchiCAD or willingness to learn and transfer current skills.Thorough understanding of Tasmanian residential development requirements or willingness and ability to obtain quickly.Strong work ethic and ability to work creatively and well with others, give and receive feedback with a positive, solution-focused attitude and desire to achieve and grow.DESIRABLELicensed (or eligibility) to minimum standard of Restricted in Tasmania.Experience with Rhino, Grasshopper and/or Sketchup and integrating landscape design.Open to new ideas and approaches, and an interest in natural materials and methods of construction and design.If you are interested in joining us on this exciting startup founding opportunity, send us a brief resume and portfolio of three projects, with a cover letter (2 pages max.).
