About the opportunity The Interior Design Consultant reports to the Studio Manager and is part of the Wilson Homes MyChoice Design team.
In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to provide our clients with a comprehensive understanding of the interior and external products available within our product range.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Working closely with clients from initial walk through, selection and beyond Providing a customised approach for selecting interior and external details, materials, colour selections, flooring selections, lighting/electrical, space planning, and detailing Interpreting client needs and completing detailed design concepts and contract documents Writing specifications covering interior design matters, and performing code reviews Provide on the spot pricing and estimating Working collaboratively and coordinating work with other disciplines Effectively utilising available technology to accurately record all revisions and reselections Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing guidance and quality support About you To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values along with:
Diploma in Design and Decoration or other relevant tertiary qualification Commitment to providing excellence in customer service Demonstrated design aesthetic and strong conceptual skills Experience in interior design or colour consulting ideally within the residential building industry An ability to read and understand floor plans and housing contracts Demonstrated attention to detail and strong record keeping, planning and organising Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, Codes and industry trends Interested?
The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening and depending on the inherent requirements of the role, may involve the completion of a National Police Check and pre-employment medical.
