Interim Financial Controller

Accounting and Finance Consultant – Brisbane QLDRiverview Location, Manufacturing Industry, 3 months +A rapidly growing manufacturing business in Ipswich with large contracts with the US requires the assistance of an interim Financial Controller for at least three months. This role will see you take full control of the financial management of the business from payables through to budgets, management reporting, and analysis to financial reporting. This role could be a temp to perm opportunity for the right person and will see you build a team in the long term. There are significant opportunities for process, systems, and reporting improvements.The RoleReporting to the Managing Director, the responsibilities of the role will include:Manage the financial operations, including preparation of financial statementsDevelop, review and prepare budgets and forecastsStatutory reporting and compliance, BAS, FBT, GSTMonth-end processing and drive management reporting for business decision makingPreparation of management reports and KPI reportingProcessing payables and receivablesSystems and process improvementsStakeholder engagement and business partneringAbout YouThe successful applicant will have/be:CA or CPA qualified with many years of Financial Control experienceWell-developed analytical skills and stakeholder engagementWillingness to complete the full set of accounts and reportingStrong systems abilities and a focus on process improvementAbility to commence at short noticeWhat's on Offer?
