The opportunity:
Due to a relocation, an opportunity has opened for a member of our Senior Management Team located in our Bowral Head Office.
Reporting to the CEO, the HR & Communications Manager is a critical role, responsible for overseeing both Human Resources and Communication efforts.
This role serves as a trusted member of our leadership team, and for our employees, ensuring that HR policies, practices and communication strategies are grounded in trust, transparency and ethical, unbiased conduct.

The candidate will need to demonstrate commitment to the betterment of the organisation, accountability, and leading by example.
Key responsibilities:
Champion and promote our mission statement, values, and behaviors.
Provide positive leadership to the HR and Marketing team.
Oversee full employee life-cycle, including recruiting, contract administration, and employee compliance through to off-boarding.
Provide advice to other leaders on employee performance and conflict resolution.
Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, risk assessments, collating evidence, and providing reports.
Provide Board reports on a monthly basis and other reports as required.
Continue to improve communication strategies, including content creation for monthly communications.
Oversee marketing activities including website, social media, and promotional activities.
Ensure communication flow between departments to key stakeholders.
Write and update employee policies and procedures.
Drive initiatives for improvement including programs, procedures, and processes.
Manage the RTW function of the organisation, providing support for employees to return to work.
Facilitate culture workshops and other presentations.
Provide an essential link between HR and Payroll.
Skills and experience:
Relevant tertiary studies in Human Resources.
4+ years experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of HR principles, Fair Work Legislation, and Awards.
Strong communication background.
Understanding of marketing strategies.
High degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Strict attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
Quick learner with above average IT skills.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Experience in NDIS or Aged Care Industry well regarded.
To be successful for this role, you will need to provide (or be willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check as well as a current NDIS Worker check.
Full working rights to work in Australia are also required for this role.
