We are seeking an experienced Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to join our team on the Inland Rail Albury to Parkes Enhancement Project. This role will service our key project areas including Forbes, Wagga Wagga, and Albury throughout the life of the project.
The ideal candidate will be personable, enjoy working with others, engaging with the local community, and be flexible to travel to service the project area and attend meetings and events as required.
About the Role Liaise with owners, leaseholders, tenants, and occupiers of land and any other landholders who are directly or indirectly impacted by the Contractor's Activities or the Works.Prepare community notifications and construction updates and attend community events.Ensure all works notifications and project collateral use the client branded templates.Draft Communications Action Plans for any planned and unplanned construction works.Obtain all permissions and approvals from the relevant owners, leaseholders, tenants, and occupiers of the land and any other landholders or authorities for changes to land, access, or property infrastructure as a result of the Contractor's Activities or the Works.Manage on-call 24/7 enquiries to address community and stakeholder issues.Record all interactions in the Consultation Manager database within 48 hours of the event occurring.Manage the engagement with any owners, leaseholders, tenants, and occupiers of the land and any other landholders where the relevant land is potentially affected by the Works or the Contractor's Activities.Contribute to the delivery of the Social Delivery Management Plan.Skills and Experience: 2+ years experience in a similar role.Experience working on a major rail or infrastructure project will be highly regarded.Recognised tertiary qualifications in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.Experience in copywriting, digital & website content management, advertising, and event coordination will be highly regarded.Tech-savvy – confident using Microsoft 365 and can adapt well to new software.About You: Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability in developing and implementing community involvement strategies and plans.Advanced time management, planning, and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and consistently deliver on commitments.Ability to engage in effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders.Display initiative and have a proactive approach to delivering the role.To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
