This is a key leadership role within the hospital, responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care for critically ill patients while managing a team of skilled ICU nurses. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the ICU nursing team to provide high-quality patient care. Oversee the daily operations of the ICU, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance the ICU's efficiency and effectiveness. Foster a positive work environment, promoting professional development and continuous improvement among the nursing staff. Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resources to ensure the ICU operates smoothly and efficiently. About You: Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration. Extensive experience in an ICU setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong clinical skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team. Proven track record of managing budgets and resources effectively.
