As either an Intelligence Assessment Director, or Technical Intelligence Assessment Director, you are responsible for leading teams of analysts to undertake all-source assessments on wide-ranging issues critical to Australia's national interests, while developing teams to deliver impactful results. You will collaborate with a broad network of stakeholders, foster relationships across Defence, broader Government, and with international partners, ensuring DIO's assessments directly inform decisions on Australia's strategic circumstances.You will have access to unique and highly desirable training and professional development opportunities. A merit pool of highly suitable candidates will be established to fill EL 2 vacancies in DIO within the next 18 months.This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
