Industry & Training Manager CIT Electric Vehicle TAFE Centre of Excellence
Full-time Permanent Details: Applications are invited to fill the position of Industry and Training Manager CIT Electric Vehicle TAFE Centre of Excellence Head of Department until December 2028.

The Industry and Training Manager will, through quality leadership and management of education and related activities, contribute to the achievement of the CIT EV TAFE Centre of Excellence goals.
The position will report to the Director, CIT Trade Skills.

Key skills for the position include:
Lead the electric vehicle training and workforce transition.
Work with industry to implement training programs.
Collaborate with internal and external specialists in design, development of quality learning resources and delivery options to address skills gaps.
Lead national upskilling of TAFE educators to meet future skills needs.
Engage with students, staff and industry partners to develop and deliver high quality and relevant training offerings.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
All employees at Head of Department Level 1 must hold a full Training and Assessment Certificate IV level qualification (such as a TAE40116 or equivalent), and a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (or equivalent).

For managers at or above Head of Department - Level 1:
Knowledge of and experience in technical training for the automotive industry with a focus on emerging industry needs and employment trends in the rapidly changing electric vehicle environment.
Vocational qualifications are highly desirable; however, where managers engage in direct teaching activity (anywhere within CIT) subclause M10.11 will also apply to them, as it relates to the teaching activity.
DESIRABLE:
Diploma of Management or related qualification.
