NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission) The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (the Commission) is a regulator established on 1 July 2018 as an independent agency under section 181 A of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (the NDIS Act) to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services.
The Commission is the dedicated national regulator of NDIS service providers in Australia.
An exciting new opportunity The Commission is looking for a complaints officer with a commitment to exceptional client service to join the Internal Integrity Unit (IIU) of the Commission.
The primary objective of the IIU is to promote public confidence and trust in the NDIS Commission.
One of the streams of work undertaken by IIU is responding to complaints against the Commission – the conduct of our staff and application of its processes.
In addition to helping facilitate resolution of complaints, IIU provides valuable feedback to the operational areas of the Commission with the aim of promoting professional staff interactions with key stakeholders and improvement of its practices.

We are looking for someone who has exceptional communication ability and can interpret policy and procedures in a high volume fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for someone with strong stakeholder engagement skills, sound judgment, and a passion for upholding the human rights of people with disabilities.
Responsibilities: Dealing with referrals to the Internal Integrity Unit from internal and external stakeholders about concerns regarding the NDIS Commission and staff.
Working closely with the Director and Assistant Directors to ensure quality work is delivered within relevant time frames.
Note: There is some interstate travel required for this role.
