Status: Permanent Full Time (35 hours per week) with hybrid work options
Salary: $104,949.64 to $120,692.08 plus 11.5% statutory superannuation.
Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Applications Management section within Information Management and Technology Services department is seeking an Integration Analyst to join our applications and infrastructure support team made up of a Coordinator Applications and seven other Applications Analysts. The role is supported by Council's data management team and Coordinator Cyber Security to ensure effective data designs and that security concerns are addressed.
Purpose:
The Integration Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting integrations between Council applications with the objective of improving the usefulness of data in each application and ensuring consistent information across all Council systems. To achieve this objective the Integration Analyst will utilise API/web service realtime integrations, batch based ETL integrations and database level integrations as appropriate to deliver the required functionality.
About the role:
The role reports to the Coordinator Applications Management. In this role you will:
Lead the analysis of integration requirements in consultation with your colleagues and business stakeholders. Lead the design, development and deployment of integration solutions utilising integration software, APIs and batch processes. Drive the implementation of data mapping, transformation and validation rules to ensure consistent data exchange between systems, whilst ensuring data security and compliance. Coordinate vendors and consultants who are assisting with the delivery of integrations About you: To excel in the role, you will have:
Knowledge of integration principles and concepts including the ability to identify design approaches to integration requirements. Ability to undertake the stages of integration including requirements development, solution selection, implementation planning, build, testing, commissioning, issues management and transition to support. Skilled in problem solving and analysis including the ability to reverse engineer and document existing integrations, resolve issues and identify opportunity for improvement to improve performance, functionality, or reliability. Skilled in communication with emphasis on developing requirements specifications and supporting the business throughout testing and implementation stages. Ability to manage integration vendors and contractors to successful delivery. Knowledge developed through tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated relevant experience.
