The Opportunity We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our General Liability team in Canberra working 3+ days a week.
You will have the chance to join our Pathways Program, which provides an opportunity to transition into a graduate role.
This position will see you working alongside experienced legal professionals and gain valuable insights into the legal field.
If you are a proactive individual with a passion for litigation, this role is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities Assist lawyers in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
Assist our legal administrative assistants with admin related tasks such as printing, filing, scanning, meeting room management etc.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
Assist with document management, including filing, organisation, and indexing.
Liaise with clients, barristers, and court personnel.
Prepare and organise materials for court appearances and meetings.
Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need Must be in the final year of your degree.
Paralegal experience is well regarded but not mandatory.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
