This vacancy is for 0.2 EFT.- The applicant is required to teach oboe and bassoon in group and individual classes.- Piano accompaniment skills would be an advantage but not a requirement.- The successful applicant will be able to teach and demonstrate on all double reed instruments at all levels from beginner to advanced and be versed in a range of music styles.- The College requires all instrumental music teachers to demonstrate a high level of competency in teaching instruments in groups.- The successful applicant may be required to either direct a small woodwind ensemble and/or assist with one of the concert bands.- Instrumental music teachers work with the Managers of Instrumental Music and Woodwind Leader to coordinate the allocation of students to instrumental music classes and oversee the maintenance, repair, purchase, and replacement of relevant equipment.The College has a large and active program of ensembles and performances.
