Selection CriteriaDemonstrated ability to instruct small groups and individual students in an instrumental program.Demonstrated commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities and a capacity to reflect on, evaluate and improve professional knowledge and practice.Demonstrated capacity to monitor and assess student learning data and to use this data to inform teaching for improved student learning.Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and high level interpersonal skills including a capacity to develop constructive relationships with students, parents and other staff.RoleAttendance during term breaks may be required and a leave purchase allowance will be paid for this time.
Instruct small groups of students and individual students and prepare for exams.Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the music program within the school.Undertake other classroom related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal and the Instrumental Music Coordinator.Participate in activities such as lunch time rehearsals, Student Led Conferences, and staff meetings.Attend school events such as Presentation Night, End of Year Concert, and Acoustic Nights.ResponsibilitiesApplicants are expected to submit the following:
