All Instrument Technicians are members of the multidisciplinary Sterile Processing Centre team.
Work in all areas of SPC (including Endoscopy suite) to provide the full range of reprocessing services, including, but not limited to: Decontamination High Level Disinfection Endoscopy Checking RMDs and setting of instrument trays Packaging (Sterile Barrier System) Sterilizing Sterile storage Ensures resources, equipment and processes checked, tested and maintained Accurate and complete documentation as per operational requirements Identify, troubleshoot and report variances The classification range for these positions will be IN1 - IN4 ($54,844.40 - $68,486.60 per annum, pro rata for part time).
Or, casual hourly rate ($27.75 - $34.65) plus 25% loading.

The Sterile Processing Centre, as part of St Vincent's Perioperative Services provides a critical service enabling and supporting the functioning of St Vincent's operating theatres & endoscopy suite.
The department operates 24 hours a day and 52 weeks of the year.
