Job description: The Schools and Early Years portfolio is responsible for taking purposeful and meaningful action to inspire, support and engage all children and young people to learn more, every day.
The Learning Services branch undertakes school improvement initiatives, providing operational support to schools, colleges and Child Family Learning Centres, to support and ensure the health and wellbeing of all students, children and young people within their services.
This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities.

Period of Appointment:
3 February 2025 to 17 December 2027
Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.
Hours per fortnight:
14 hours per fortnight
Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment).
A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.
