About your new role
As an Inspector for our Roadside Barriers, you will be responsible for supporting the management of Level 1 inspection of the city's roadside barrier systems including crash barriers, fences, bollards and guideposts.
As a result, you will contribute to the Roadside Barrier Systems Maintenance and Renewal program for the City's existing infrastructure network, under the custodianship of Transport Assets Planning Management business unit.

We're looking for people who have skills to:
Undertake Level 1 inspections of the City's Crash Barrier Systems, Fences, Bollards, Guide Posts asset portfolio.
Record maintenance issues/defects in SAP and complete condition assessment forms (i.e.
Level 1 reports) using the Fulcrum app.
Conduct site investigations.
Interface with external contractors to undertake maintenance and repair activities.
Inspect completed upgrades and repairs prior to invoice approval and monthly contractor payments.
Assess roadside barrier compliance to relevant standards to inform a renewal program.
Identify and elevate safety issues/urgent defects to the Principal Planner Roadside Barriers.
You hold:
Certificate III in Civil Construction and/or have demonstrated equivalent experience and knowledge relevant to the role.
Diploma of Project Management, and/or have demonstrated equivalent experience and knowledge relevant to the role.
Australian Driver licence class C unrestricted.
General Construction Induction Card (White/Blue).
