Based in the north of Sydney, this well-known government contract testing laboratory is looking for a Lab Technician to support technical and new development projects to expand the business capabilities within the food, health, and environmental testing market. The role is a full-time 12-month contract role.

Responsibilities Include

Undertake sample preparation of environmental and food samples for trace elements analysisCalibration of laboratory equipmentAssist other support teams like Customer Service or Laboratory Services if required

Skills & Experience

Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry or relatedExperience with sample preparation of environmental & food samplesKnowledge of QA/QC principles and practices within a NATA accredited laboratoryGood communication and organisational skills Strong work ethic with good people skillsAustralian citizenship is required for this role
